Coffee table books shouldn’t be a stack of magazines– unless they’re vintage Vogue. They should be well thought out pieces of art that flow seamlessly throughout the house, fit your aesthetic and actually go along with topics you enjoy. Furthermore, coffee table books do not have to live on the coffee table. They could also be shown off on shelves, side tables, entryways or wherever you see fit.
Mine live in the living room underneath the television, stacked up in relation to size and color. It is the perfect place to have them be shown off, safe, and easily accessible. Another important note: finding the right coffee table book can be stressful. I suggest looking in places like Homegoods and Thrift Books– that’s where mine are from.
