“To travel is to live.” – Hans Christian Anderson
Whether you’re packing for a ten week backpacking trip to another country, or packing to stay at a friend’s house over the weekend- I’m here to help you feel prepared and confident on your vacay. I am packing for a one night/two-day vacation on the beach. My boyfriend and I are traveling to see the Impractical Jokers comedy show “The Tenderloins: Santiago sent us.”
I think we could all agree that packing everything for your skin care routine is the single most important thing when going on vacation. Nothing is worse than having to use those tiny bottles of face wash that the hotel provides. I mean, the gesture is nice and all, but seriously? I would rather not completely break out on my vacation. Tip #1: PACK ALL OF YOUR SKIN CARE. Even if you probably won’t use it. Better safe than sorry! Here are some skin care products that I live by:
Obviously, I’m packing to be on the beach all day. So bathing suits are a must. I always make sure I pack a lot of options when it comes to bathing suits. I mean, after all, that is why they’re so small, right? So you can fit an unnecessary amount into your suitcase? I thought so. Tip #2: PACK OPTIONS.
Now, I’ve never been to a comedy show but I have a feeling I’m suppose to dress mildly nice. I read somewhere online that you shouldn’t dress too fancy, nor too bummy. So, I’m going to play it safe with a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans (similar here and here), a white and black cropped top, and a pair of black booties. I can’t travel anywhere unless I know I have at least one pair of medium wash jeans. Tip #3: PLAY IT SAFE. Whatever you have planned to do on your vacay, just make sure you’re not sticking out like a sore thumb (unless it’s in a good way- in which case ALWAYS STICK OUT LIKE A SORE THUMB.)
